REPORT: Russia, Lebanon to sign agreement on oil sector

Caretaker Energy Minister Gebran Bassil said on Friday that his Russian counterpart, Alexander Novak invited him to visit Moscow in order to sign a memorandum of understanding between the 2 countries.

Minister Bassil noted that the memorandum, which is related to oil drilling, is considered as the first step towards establishing promising cooperation ties Russia and Lebanon.

This report will shed light on the Lebanese-Russian memorandum in light of the disregarded dossier of oil drilling off Lebanon's shores.
