REPORT: Refugees constitute important part of Syrian crisis’ impact

Reports of the negative impact of the Syrian crisis on Lebanon, especially on the social and economic levels, have become a part of the Lebanese daily news. The negative impact is mainly remarkable in the tourism sector and the declining growth rates.

However, the deteriorating situation of the tourism and banking sectors was met by an improvement in the situation of other sectors.
