Mirna Loanko, who hails from the Philippines, has lost contact with her four children after typhoon Haiyan hit her hometown located in the eastern seaboard of the Philippine archipelago.       

This report will shed light on the repercussions of typhoon Haiyan which appears to be the deadliest natural disaster on record.
