REPORT: Khouloud and Nidal’s civil marriage raises hope for change

Several months after the wedding of Kholoud Sukkarieh and Nidal Darwish, the caretaker Ministry of Interior validated 6 other civil marriages.

This report will shed light on civil marriage in Lebanon, in light of changes that are now allowing couples to wed via civil means.
