REPORT: Suspects planned terrorist acts, monitored diplomatic locations
Investigations with Hassan and Mohammad Abou Alfa revealed that they were planning and implementing terrorist acts in Beirut, and that they are affiliated with Abdullah Azzam Brigades. According to the said leads, the State Commissioner to the Military Court filed lawsuits against them and referred their case to the First Military Investigative Judge Riyadh Abou Ghaida, who in turn referred them to the Judge Fadi Sawan.

On the other hand, the Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence Directorate are conducting interrogations with Nidal Sweidan who is suspected to belong to al-Nusra Front and was arrested on Wednesday in the region of Mashari al-Qaa.

Investigations are also ongoing with Abou Omair al-Homsi, who is accused of funding the terrorist acts, while security sources said that Sweidan and al-Homsi were arrested after the detainee Naim Abbas gave their names to the authorities.
