REPORT: Information Minister lashes out at article against President Sleiman

Minister of Justice Ashraf Rifi referred an article by journalist Ibrahim al-Amin of al-Akhbar daily to the Sate Prosecution for slandering Lebanese President Michel Sleiman.

Rifi said al-Amin wrote an article "with too many expressions of offense, defamation, and slander against the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman."

This report will examine the stance of Information Minister Ramzi Jreij who lashed out at the journalist's article.
