Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said that the formula concerning the resistance, which he presented during the meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers in Egypt can be adopted by the policy statement drafting committee, since it was adopted by the Arab foreign ministers.
During a chat with reporters, Bassil noted that decision issues by the Arab League and that concerns Lebanon in the issue of the Syrian refugees, includes two main points.
“First, the need to meet the needs of the Lebanese state, not only the refugees, second, the need to stress that the refugees’ presence in Lebanon is temporary, and to deal with the issue according to this basis,” he stated. For more details, watch the full report in the video above
