REPORT: Three Syrian rockets hit the region of al-Labweh, kill Syrian national

Three rockets launched from the Syrian side hit on Wednesday residential neighborhoods in the region of al-Labweh while a funeral was being held for a person from the Jumblatt family.

The attack killed one Syrian national identified as Mohammad Abbas.

This as the Baalbek-based Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks on the said region.

Al-Labweh is a Shiite town whose residents are supporters of Hezbollah, which is fighting alongside troops loyal to Syrian President Bachar Assad against the majority Sunni rebels.
