REPORT: Tension prevails over Ain el-Helweh camp after death of Ali Khalil

The Ain el-Helweh Palestinian refugee camp witnessed on Monday heavy armed deployment and tension after the death of Ali Khalil, a supporter of the hardline Islamist leader Osama Shehabi.

Khalil was shot dead at dawn by unknown assailants in al-Sefsaf neighborhood.

No further details were reported on the incident.
