REPORT: Sleiman says he failed to eradicate sectarian ideology
President Michel Sleiman stressed Friday that he is not concerned over the situation in Lebanon, noting that political obstruction has delayed several matters.

During a farewell meeting with the journalists and the employees of the Presidential Palace, Sleiman pointed out that he failed to eradicate the sectarian and confessional ideology that caused many issues, noting that “a real state has yet to be built.”

On another note, Sleiman stated that women in Lebanon were granted a major role in the recent administrative appointments, adding that 12 females were appointed in key positions.
