REPORT: Head of Palestinian Authority confers medal on visiting Patriarch Rai

The state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported on Sunday that head of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, conferred the medal of the "Star of Jerusalem" on visiting Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai.

NNA added that Patriarch Rai met Abbas along with other officials, stating that he also held talks with Latin patriarch of Jerusalem Michel Sabbah.
