REPORT: Lebanese University contract professors to strike on May 27-28
Contract professors at the Lebanese University announced on Monday a two-day strike on May 27 and 28 to protest against the government’s failure to grant them full-time jobs.

In this regard, the Faculty of Sciences - Section II said the faculty's exams will be postponed and will start on May 29 instead of May 26.

Last month, the Lebanese University contract professors staged a protest across the Baabda Presidential Palace, calling for their full-employment at the university.

The professors said their movement will not end unless the parliament meets their demands, stressing that they will be taking escalatory measures.
