REPORT: Sheep wearing national team jerseys "play" friendly football match
Residents in a small Colombian town on Sunday held a football match between Colombia and Brazil with unlikely players.

Wearing team football jerseys, shorts and matching shoes, the two teams of sheep were herded into a field to go head to head to see which team could score the most goals.

Spectators cheered as the sheep kicked a ball around the field, sometimes, they actually scored.

The event was held in the run up to the start of the football world cup which begins later this month in Brazil, but also to celebrate World Ruana Day, Ruana being the ponchos made out of wool and other materials.

The four-legged players were representing real-life players, including Brazilian players Robinho and 'Hulk,' who will be participating in the World Cub.

The Boyaca province, some 130 kilometers northeast of Bogota, is known for also hosting the annual sheep beauty pageant.
