REPORT: Soup For Syria: Cookbook to help Syrian refugees

Barbara Massaad, who had previously published several cookbooks, is set to publish and sell a new cookbook in a bid to help the Syrian refugees.

With the money raised after selling the book, titled “Soup for Syria,” Barbara hopes to be able to build temporary pop-up kitchen in the Bekaa town of Zahle where a lot of Syrian Refugees currently reside.

The book will contain recipes for soups that consist of local ingredients that can be prepared by the Syrian families.
