REPORT: ISF General Directorate mourns martyr Mahmoud Jamal Eddine
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces mourned on Friday ISF martyr Mahmoud Mohammad Jamal Eddine who was killed in the suicide bombing that occurred earlier in the day in Lebanon's Daher al-Baydar.

Jamal Eddine, born on 10/9/1964, hails from the Zahle town of Saadnayel. He is married with eight children.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at a security checkpoint in Lebanon's Daher al-Baydar in the Eastern Bekaa Valley on Friday, leaving 1 person killed and up to 32 wounded, the health ministry said.

Security forces cordoned off the area, blocking the international highway in both directions, as civil defense teams worked on extinguishing the vehicles on fire.

The Internal Security Forces received information on the presence of terrorist networks infiltrating the country namely for the possible assassination of Lebanon's Director General of General Security Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim who narrowly escaped the attack.
