REPORT: Investigators recover fragments of bodies in Algerian plane crash tragedy

LBCI crew has followed up on the work of the Lebanese delegation which headed to Mali to inspect the Algerian plane crash site.

The process of recovering the remains of victims has ended and the investigators only found fragments of bodies.

The Air Algerie jetliner carrying 118 people crashed last Thursday in a rainstorm over restive Mali.

Its wreckage was found near the border of neighboring Burkina Faso.

The death toll of 118 includes 19 Lebanese and 54 French citizens.
