REPORT: Hezbollah's latest operation against Israel is "unacceptable"-Hariri
Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri said on Wednesday that Hezbollah’s latest operation against Israel in the border area of Shebaa was "unacceptable. "

“Insistence on such a course of action, whether random or calculated, only helps in destabilizing national efforts in the fight against terrorism and extremism,” Hariri said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for detonating a bomb that injured two Israeli soldiers in the south Lebanon border region of Shebaa, two days after a Lebanese soldier was injured by Israeli fire in the same area.

Hariri said Hezbollah cannot make a "unilateral decision" to exclude the entire Lebanese government from such operations.

Hariri said a national partnership was necessary so as to not implicate Lebanon “in the wars of others on our land or in other wars on foreign territory.”

Hezbollah has been militarily involved in the uprising taking place in neighboring Syria, fighting alongside Syrian regime troops in their battle against rebels and extremist groups.
