REPORT: USJ students voice objection to the annulment of student elections

Dozens of the students staged Monday a protest at Saint Joseph University, to raise their objection to the administration’s decision to annul the student council elections.

During the protest, which united the rival political parties, the students stressed that “the chaos of democracy is more honest than the silence of dictatorship,” adding that this movement will not be their last, but the first of a series of movements to be staged until the university’s administrative council revokes the said decision.
