REPORT: Video depicts two-phased suicide bombing attack on Iranian embassy in Beirut
On the first anniversary of the attack on the Iranian embassy in Beirut, a video recorded by surveillance cameras has gone viral on social media websites.

The video depicts the two-phased suicide bombing attack. At 9:15 a.m., a vehicle carrying two suicide bombers approached the embassy with the first one getting out of it and heading to the building's entrance.

The man, who was wearing an explosive belt that contains nearly 25 kilos of explosive materials, runs towards the embassy's main door and blows himself up.

The story as it was told in the video by a man, whose identity was not confirmed, reveals that the second suicide bomber was supposed to get the vehicle inside the embassy's building.

Nonetheless, Haytham Ayyoub, a policeman who was killed in the attack, chased down the vehicle after the suicide bomber hit another car while driving.

Ayyoub stopped the vehicle and as soon as he opened the door to get the man out of it, the second explosion took place.
