REPORT: Lebanese citizens draw U shape in Downtown Beirut, call for a "United" nation

Nearly 1,860 Lebanese citizens gathered on Saturday in Downtown Beirut and drew a U shape, calling for a "United" state.

The nationals aim to enter the Guinness Book of World Records while stressing the need to consolidate unity to help Lebanon withstand the current political unrest.

The event was organized by the Beirut Celebrations Association on the occasion of Lebanon's 71st Independence Day.
