Zalfa, a character created by KAFA (Enough Violence & Exploitation), will be explaining the inner workings of the law against domestic violence in a bid to raise awareness on law 293.
In tonight's segment Zalfa says:
After heading to a police station and reporting a case of domestic violence, police members may arrest the aggressor for 48 hours and prevent him from entering the house. They may also transport you, along with your children to a safe place.
Please take note that you are not supposed to pay for the forensic doctor at the police station.
Watch us tomorrow for further clarifications on the law against domestic violence.
