REPORT: PM Salam from Elysee: France willing to assist Lebanon on presidential file

French President Francois Hollande met on Friday with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam with talks featuring high on the local and regional developments as well as the Saudi grant to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

“France is willing to assist Lebanon with regards to the presidential elections,” Salam said following talks with Hollande at the Elysee palace.

He added that technical transactions over the $3 billion Saudi grant were finalized.
