REPORT: Protesters stage march for the recognition of civil marriage in Lebanon

The Civil Commission for the Freedom of Choice staged a march on Sunday from the American University of Beirut’s main entrance in Bliss Street towards the Interior Ministry in Sanayeh region, to support the right to have a civil marriage contract in Lebanon.

Civil society activists have been staging movements for months to call for legalizing the civil marriage in Lebanon.
