REPORT: Education Minister Bou Saab says results of Brevet exams to be issued on June 26, 27
Education Minister Elias Bou Saab stressed Wednesday that surveillance during the official exams was strict in some schools, while it was “lenient” elsewhere, where students were allowed to cheat easily, noting that the latter situation needs to be treated immediately.
 
“We will not hold the teachers allowing the students to cheat accountable, but we will work on improving the situation by guaranteeing the teachers are granted their rights through the approval of the pay scale as a start,” he stated.
 
During an inspection tour to the official exams centers in Bir Hassan, Bou Saab pointed out the need to introduce advanced methods in order to improve the conditions of the official exams.
 
In this context, the minister revealed that the results of the Brevet exams will be issued on the 26th and 27th of June, while the results of the Baccalaureate exams will be issued in the following week.
