REPORT: PM Salam urges the International Community to find solution for Syrian crisis

Prime Minister Tammam Salam called on the International Community to “stop acting like a spectator” and start working on reaching a solution for the Syrian crisis.

During a joint press conference held in Jordan’s Amman with his Jordanian counterpart Abdullah al-Nassour, Salam urged all the international powers to seek a political solution, which ensures unity among the Syrian factions and restores security and stability, allowing the swift return to the Syrian refugees to their country.

For his part, al-Nassour stressed that only a political solution can end the Syrian crisis.

Prime Minister Tammam Salam arrived to Jordan on Wednesday morning in an official visit to take part in the Lebanese-Jordanian Higher Joint Committee.

Ministers Akram Chehayeb, Ramzi Jreij, Michel Pharaon, Rashid Derbass, Abdel Motaleb Hanawi, Nabil De Freij, Alain Hakim along with media representatives and an administrative delegation accompanied the premier.
