The evening round of talks ended on Tuesday and will resume tomorrow (October 7).
Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun boycotted the evening session which revolved around the presidential issue.
Earlier today, a national dialogue session got underway in Beirut's Nejmeh square under the chairmanship of House Speaker Nabih Berri.
The session was convened at 12:00 pm and was attended by MP Michel Aoun along with MP Ibrahim Kanaan who left less than an hour after the session started.
This as a closed meeting was held between Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Speaker Berri during a short break.
Also, a closed meeting took place between Berri and Aoun prior to the session.
Meanwhile, sources reported to LBCI that the March 14 forces held a meeting on Monday and agreed not to discuss any item on the session’s agenda before tackling the issue of the presidential election.
Speaker Nabih Berri has set three days of sessions starting Tuesday.
