Truck drivers held on Monday a protest on the Nahr al-Kalb highway in a bid to put pressure on the administrative authorities which have been preventing them from extracting sand and gravel from Kesrouan quarries.
Meanwhile, more than 35 drivers parked their trucks on the side of the Jounieh-Beirut road, resulting in a suffocating traffic jam.
