REPORT: LF, Future Movement ask supporters to stop war of words on social media
The Lebanese Forces General Secretariat and the Future movement asked on Monday their supporters to stop the war of words on social media.

The General Secretariat of the Lebanese forces issued a circular asking its supporters to refrain from expressing their anger against the nomination of MP Sleiman Franjieh on social media.

On the other hand, the Future movement issued a similar statement.

The calls come following a meeting in Paris between Future Movement leader former Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Marada leader Frangieh that would see the nomination of Frangieh for the presidential bid.

Lebanon has been plunged into a presidential vacuum since the mandate of President Michel Sleiman ended in May 2014.
