REPORT: Saudi Arabia provides assistance to Syrian refugees in Lebanon

The Saudi National Campaign for the Support of Brothers in Syria distributed cartons and cans of food in addition to other relief items to Syrian refugees at Verdun’s square. Children stood in line at the square, waiting patiently for their turn to receive food.

Each family got a package including three boxes, a family basket, a child basket and a health package. After Akkar, Tripoli and Arsal, the Saudi campaign finally reached Beirut. Dar al-Iftaa organized the distribution of these packs through its relief body including Beirut associations and volunteers.

Since last September, the Saudi campaign has helped over 7500 Syrian families. For the full LBCI report, watch the video above
