Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari told LBCI on Saturday that drugs smuggling to the Saudi kingdom reveals the extent of the challenge that Saudi Arabia faces from local and international criminal networks.

Yesterday, Saudi Arabia announced a ban on imports of fruits and vegetables coming from Lebanon, blaming an increase in drug smuggling, in a measure that will add to Lebanon's economic woes.
