Lebanon is in the midst of an unprecedented diplomatic and political crisis with the Gulf States.

The Lebanese ambassadors in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain were expelled, while their respective ambassadors were withdrawn from Lebanon and the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates in Beirut was degraded.
