REPORT: Christmas spirit resonates across Lebanese regions

With Christmas approaching, the holiday seasons spirit began to resonate throughout Lebanese regions.

While the holiday season reflected positively on the national economy, this year, the Christmas tree in downtown Beirut was lit by electricity produced through bicycles.

For the fifth day in a row, Christmas chants resounded in all churches across downtown Beirut and the Italian choir Sestetto Dell' Accademia Della Scala di Milano performed for the first time at the St Maron Church in Gemmayze in the presence of First Lady Wafaa Sleiman and several officials.

For its part, Zahle kicked off the Christmas festivals with Miss Lebanon Rina Chinaby who lit up the tree of Zahle and the Bekaa to the beat of Christmas songs.
