Tannourine fire now under control-[REPORT]

A fire broke out on Tuesday night in the Tannourine Cedar Nature Reserve, which extended over an area of 8000 meters.

The efforts of the Reserve Committee, the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the Army Command, and the locals helped put out the fire.

This as Caretaker Minister of eEnvironment Nasser Yassin accompanied the efforts to put out the fire in the Tannourine Cedar Nature Reserve and emphasized the value of protecting the country’s natural resources, which he considered as a source of national wealth for Lebanon and a popular destination for ecotourism.

It is worth mentioning that the fire is now entirely under control.
