Telecom corruption: Parliamentary Bureau postpones Wednesday Parliament session
Wednesday’s Parliament session dedicated to discussing the accusations against Telecom ministers failed to secure the needed quorum; thus, the Parliamentary Bureau took the initiative to request its postponement.

In this regard, member of the Strong Republic bloc, MP Ghassan Hasbani, confirmed that in light of the vacuum in the first presidency, the General Assembly of the Parliament might meet only to elect a President of the Republic, pointing out that the Strong Republican bloc will not attend the parliament session on Wednesday.

As for the Free Patriotic Movement, its sources indicated a tendency not to participate in the session, but the bloc will raise this issue in the afternoon, where the final decision will be taken in this regard.

As for the Kataeb, the party's sources revealed that the bloc’s deputies would not attend the session in compliance with their previous position by restricting attendance to sessions to elect a President of the Republic.
