REPORT: Israel keen on reassuring Assad, keeps its state of alert

Israel is keeping on the state of alert at the northern borders near Syria and Lebanon, as it has deployed military armored vehicles as well as hundreds of troops while carrying out military trainings for selected units.

Israel has been taking these measures in an attempt to prevent potential escalation, since it launched two airstrikes against Syria, and has sent a calming message to Syrian President Bashar Assad through Russia.

This report will highlight the content and the aim of the Israeli message sent to Assad as well as means adopted by the Israeli leadership to reassure the citizens.
