REPORT: Israeli General Benny Gantz says regional situation may deteriorate at any moment

Israeli military chief Lieutenant General Benny Gantz warned on Tuesday from the risk of a rapid escalation in the region, and considered that the situation is critical and may deteriorate at any moment.

Following various reports claiming that an Israeli military jeep came under fire from Syrian forces, Gantz called on army patrols to respond immediately to any attack.

This report will shed light on the stance of the Israeli Military Chief and that of the Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon after Syrian claims stating the destruction of an Israeli vehicle that crossed the ceasefire line in the Golan Heights.
