Dead Woman's Body Turned Into Fireworks, Sent Off Into The Night Sky
When Annette Maunder died of cancer earlier this year, she had one single request; to go out in a blaze of glory...literally!

The 55-year-old wanted her ashes to be turned into fireworks in order to be burst into a truly beautiful memorial.

Last week, Maunder’s husband, Gary, 55, made her final wish come true; he launched customized fireworks made with the help of the Essex based company Heavenly Stars Fireworks.

The nearly $400 box contained a variety of fireworks, including blue bursts and crackling rockets.

Gary, who put on a two-minute show at Plymouth’s Devonport Park, claimed his years with Maunder were worth the struggle toward the end.

Annette's friends and family joined him for a special memorial service, that ended with a spectacular two-minute firework display.

“Our 13 years of marriage were the best 13 years of my life. We won the battle but lost the war. She was a keeper,” Garry said.

The grieving husband called the display “good way to send her off.”
