MP Jean Ogassapian pointed to Al-Liwaa newspaper on Saturday that the provoking speech of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made the possibility to reach an understanding more difficult and pulled the country into void at all levels.
"His approach is based on Iranian strategic considerations and interests in the region instead of Lebanese concerns", he said.
"No government without Hezbollah's disengagement from Syria and return to Baabda Declaration; the Future Movement's stance is clear and final concerning this issue." he concluded.
Caretaker Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour assured to an-Nahar newspaper on Saturday that he contacted international organizations active in Lebanon in order to follow up on the alleged organ trafficking issue targeting Syrian refugees, which has been shared by the media, stressing that no concrete evidence has been collected so far.
In this context, the daily reported that the Minister consulted all the Ministry's apparatuses, local and international associations working with displaced Syrians for verification in order to take the necessary measures swiftly and in order to prevent further exploitation, should it proved to be trued.
Abou Faour also stressed that he will keep following up on this matter in defense of the refugees and Lebanon's reputation.
Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Gregorios III Laham stressed that Lebanon was going through a big tragedy during the current phase of its history since none of the parties agreed on the formation of a government.
"We are living an internal conflict that is far more evil than war in the absence of a strong government that launches projects and adopts ideas", he said to Al-Joumhouria newspaper.
In an interview with the daily, Patriarch Laham called on the formation of a movement that includes all religious sects, to extend an invitation, early December, to all parties without distinction to a Christian - Muslim summit in order to proceed with the formation of a new government.
"The Vatican will not interfere in Lebanon's political affairs, this is a call for peace", he pointed.
Separately, in a question concerning the two abducted Orthodox bishops Boulos Yazigi and John Ibrahim, he replied: "Their release should have taken place during Adha, but it didn't. Therefore, I hope that they will be set free by Christmas. It's a shame that I have not been communicated any updates on the subject."
Sources informed As-Safir newspaper that Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel will head to the northern city of Tripoli to hold a meeting with the city's MPs and heads of security at the residence of MP Mohammad Kabbara to discuss internal security deployment mechanism in zones of tension.
Sources pointed on Saturday to the existence of a plan ready for implementation especially in Bab el-Tebbeneh.
Sources also reported to the daily that a meeting took place in the hall of Bab el Tebbeneh's Harba mosque, including all the front leaders in order to go through the security plan to which they agreed on condition of avoiding performing raids and prosecutions.
