• PSP leader Jumblatt to meet Hariri in Paris-sources

Sources told As-Safir on Saturday that Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt will soon pay a visit to Paris to meet with former Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

The same sources added that discussions will reportedly tackle the presidential bid as well as the parliamentary elections.

• Abducted Syrian bishops are still alive-security sources

A security source told As-Safir newspaper on Saturday that Qatar is playing the role of mediator between the Lebanese authorities and the Syrian rebels to reveal the fate of seven Lebanese nationals missing in Syria.

On another note, the same source ruled out media reports saying that the two abducted bishops were killed.

According to the daily, the security source revealed that the Lebanese General Security arrested two Israeli spies and were referred to the concerned authorities.

• World Bank Group President to visit Lebanon to tackle Syrian refugees crisis-sources

Ministerial sources told Al-Joumhouria newspaper on Saturday that the meeting of the ministerial committee tasked to deal with the file of the Syrian refugees will be held prior to the arrival of the World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim to Lebanon.

The same sources added that the foreign official will tackle with the Lebanese leaders ways to face the crisis of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon on the economic, social and educational levels.

• MP Nadim Gemayel warns against dangers of the presidential vacuum

MP Nadim Gemayel warned on Saturday against the dangers of the presidential vacuum, adding that the Lebanese people need to take on the streets to ensure the election of a new president for the country.

Gemayel's comments were made to Acharq al-Awsat newspaper whereby he reiterated that March 14 camp is adamant on the candidacy of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea for the presidency, calling on March 8 camp MPs to attend the election sessions.

Gemayel concluded by saying that the MPs who hinder the election of a new president will assume the responsibility of the presidential vacuum in the country.
