- Soueid: Hezbollah is a militia that elevated to the level of
resistance
March 14 Secretary General Fares Souaid said that opposition forces are fully aware of
the next stage which is full of internal and external entitlements and added that during this
stage they should unite their political reading.
Soueid added that March14 should keep their institutions
and forces in full readiness in order to receive the fall of the Syrian regime,
and prepare for the electoral battle.
In an interview with
As-Siyasa newspaper, Soueid did not
rule that Hezbollah waits for the fall of the regime on order to create an
atmosphere of tension in Lebanon and among its citizens, and added that people,
in this case, will agree on the party's demands in order to stop the bombings
and killings.
"Toppling the Syrian regime should be an appropriate
situation for real peace to prevail in Lebanon," Soueid added.
"Hezbollah
is a militia that elevated to the level of resistance, but now it should hand
over its weapons like other militias did in 1991," he concluded.
After meeting with the French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius,
Deputy Walid Jumblatt said that discussions were related to the Syrian
situation which is on continuous aggravation.
Jumblatt added that this situation is causing the displacement of a
massive number of Syrians and Palestinians toward the Lebanese territories
leading to a significant burden on Lebanon.
Jumblatt who is currently in France said to
As-Safir that he felt a direct
support to the Lebanese institutions, national dialogue, and the policy adopted
by the cabinet regarding the Syrian situation.
Al-Mustaqbal
newspaper said on Tuesday that enrolling the name of Former Minister Michel
Samaha on the US Terror list is a political message that assures the US support
to the Lebanese stability and is against anything that might affect it.
In
this context, diplomatic sources said to the Daily that this step is a part of
other accusation against Samaha and the US terrorist list issued in 2005.

Talkalakh ambush returned to Lebanon.
The
sources added that the Member
of the Association of Muslim Scholars Salem al-Rafei secured a shelter for
them fearing that security forces would arrest them for investigations.

Palestinian refugees fled from Yarmouk camp toward Lebanon
An-Nahar
newspaper said on Tuesday that almost 1200 Palestinian refugees fled from the
Yarmouk Camp in Syria after it was targeted by aerial bombing
The newspaper
added that other 1200 refugees fled from the camp on the 14th of December after
it was bombed.
