Turkish Interior Minister blames PKK for Istanbul attack

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu on Monday accused on Monday the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) of being behind the Istanbul attack that left at least six people dead on Sunday.

"According to our conclusions, the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party is responsible" for the attack, Soylu said, announcing the arrest of a person accused of placing a bomb on the Istiklal Street.
