Lebanese Serena Ibrahim receives International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award in Qatar
Lebanon's youth is known for working hard to initiate positive change among the country's many institutions.

This time, Youth Against Corruption (YAC) founder Serena Ibrahim received Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award in Qatar on International Anti-Corruption Day 2022.

"I founded YAC with a dream to fight for a future where no youth wakes up unmotivated, with no purpose, and a victim of a corrupt system that destroys dreams and aspirations […] It taught me that consistency, hard work, patience, and determination would make a Noise!" expressed Ibrahim on her social media accounts.

YAC is a Youth-led initiative aiming at controlling and preventing corruption through social innovation and entrepreneurship and works at making informed socio-political choices and initiating action towards more sustainable development.
