Beirut Airport witnesses a huge rush of travelers
The Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport is noticing a high influx of travelers. The airport’s movement confirms that between December 1 and December 26, 2022, more than 255,000 arrivals entered Lebanon, an increase of 22 percent over the same period in 2021, when the number of airport arrivals at that time recorded more than 208,000 people.

The Director General of Civil Aviation Fadi Al-Hassan confirmed to LBCI that expectations are likely that the number of arrivals to Lebanon will surpass 300,000 by the end of 2022, which is a good number compared to the highest number recorded for arrivals in July 2022, which was 400,000.

Al-Hassan added that the daily number of planes that land at Beirut airport is an average of 85 aircraft, which is also a sizable number compared to July 2022, which witnessed the highest number of incoming planes in the runways at that time. It was an average of 95 aircraft per day.
