Juppe: SNC is the legitimate speaker
French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said that the Syrian National Council, which encompasses the majority of Syrian opposition parties, is the legitimate speaker and representative but has yet be officially acknowledged.    

During a press conference followed by a meeting with the Head of the SNC Burhan Ghalioun, Juppe stressed the need for the SNC to include all opposition figures and parties.

“At a later stage the council will be officially acknowledged”, Juppe said.
