Seagulls bombard pest control boss’ car in a show of revenge

A pest control boss was given on Tuesday a £500 bill after returning from holiday to find his new Mercedes covered with seagull muck.

Jon Whitehead had parked his shiny blue Mercedes outside his home in Seaford, East Sussex, before going on a two-week break abroad.

However, when he returned from his break, he found his vehicle which he bought a week before going on holiday – covered with seagull muck after the birds had bombarded the car over a span of 14 days.

After having his car washed for over an hour, Mr Whitehead gave up and sought professional help, which left him with a £500 bill.
