Canada tells its citizens to leave Syria while they can

Canada announced that it is organizing the evacuation of its citizens from Syria, adding that the situation in the country is increasingly troubling. The Canadian authorities called on their citizens to leave Syria.        

Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs John Bird said that Ottawa gave instructions to its officials to carry out a voluntary evacuation process next month.        

In the meantime, she called on Canadians to leave Syria immediately in any possible way as long as this option is still available.
