Iran launches navy maneuvers around Strait of Hormuz

Iran launched Saturday 10-day navy military maneuvers around the Strait of Hormuz which accounts for about 40% of the world’s oil trade, the Iranian public television announced in Arabic.

The television added that this maneuver, entitled Velayat-90, and announced Thursday by the Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, kicked off according to the scheduled program.
