Gang arrested for selling sexual stimulants

Iraqi Interior Ministry said that a gang of three individuals was arrested on charges of selling sexual stimulants containing carcinogenic substances of unknown origins.

The head of the counter-economic crimes department Gen. Hussein Al Shammri told AFP that the drugs sold by the gang are of unknown sources and being smuggled into the country from Iraqi Kurdistan.

Gen. Al Shammri stressed that a team was established to pursue the gang, adding that three members were arrested and large quantities of stimulants were confiscated. “After running several tests, it was revealed that they contain carcinogenic substances”, Al Shammri said.

Al Shammri noted that this gang confessed that there are more individuals and parties involved in its crimes and investigation is still ongoing.
