Macron: Lebanon must receive tangible support, calls for regional stability

French President Emmanuel Macron said Lebanon must receive concrete and practical support, announcing plans to organize a conference in support of Lebanon and to continue efforts toward negotiations, peace, and stability in the country.

“We will organize a conference to support Lebanon and continue working for negotiations, peace, and stability in Lebanon,” Macron said.

He added that Europe must become more actively engaged in the issue, stressing: “We must provide our support to Lebanon in a very tangible way, and Europe must be more involved in this file.”
