Ukrainian Elena Bodnar created a very unique tear gas mask to be used in emergency situations: a bra.            

Bodnar, who received a modest scientific award for this innovation said that, in emergency cases, women and girls can easily take off their bras by separating the right cup from the left one, producing two separate gas masks for their use and that of a lucky friend.         

Surprisingly, Bodnar managed to find a market to sell this $29.95 bra on the internet.         

Elena started her career as a researcher trying to uncover the impact of the Chernobyl explosion on human beings. She said that this bra could have been beneficial for women and girls during the 9/11 attacks and during dust storms.           

Some Egyptian activists recently started discussing this innovation on different social media platforms to try and understand how it could help them during their protests.
